Kitchen countertop materials – MDF, epoxy, and finish

Our countertop materials are chosen with practicality and aesthetics in mind – MDF, epoxy, and polyurethane finish together create a durable, scratch-resistant, and easy-to-maintain surface.

These solutions make it possible to create uniquely designed kitchen countertops that look like natural or engineered stone, yet come at a significantly more affordable price.

MDF

strong and affordable base material for countertops

MDF (medium-density fiberboard) is a stable and precise base material that gives our kitchen countertops a uniform and durable structure. Although MDF itself is not waterproof, we make it so with a special primer and epoxy coating – resulting in a water-resistant and long-lasting countertop suitable even for intensive use.

✔ Waterproof treatment – primer and epoxy layer prevent swelling and moisture damage
✔ Environmentally friendly – made from wood industry by-products
✔ Does not crack or warp – retains its shape and strength over time
✔ Unlimited possibilities in shape and size – suitable for both straight and custom-shaped countertops

Epoxy

unique design that can also be used every day

Epoxy is the core of our countertop design and durability. It allows us to create countertops that look exceptional – seamless – while also withstanding scratches, heat, and moisture. We use only high-quality epoxy resin specifically developed for countertops.

✔ Seamless design – even very long and complexly shaped countertops can be made as a single piece
✔ Precisely the desired look – pattern and colors exactly where the client wants
✔ Endless design possibilities – every countertop is 100% unique
✔ Resistant to everyday use – good scratch resistance, water-repellent, chemical-resistant, and able to withstand high heat
✔ Easy to maintain – smooth, non-porous surface does not absorb stains or liquids

The design is always unique, but durability is always the standard – in every countertop.

Polyurethane

protective and finishing layer that ensures durability

Polyurethane lacquer is the final and essential layer of our countertops, providing both practical protection and visual finish. This layer determines whether the surface will be matte or glossy, while also protecting it from intensive use.

✔ Finish options: matte or glossy – according to the client’s preference
✔ Scratch and wear resistance – suitable even for heavy use, such as in bars and restaurants
✔ Heat resistant up to 230 °C – together with epoxy ensures excellent heat tolerance
✔ Stain and dirt resistant – non-porous and easy-to-clean surface
✔ Enhances design details – glossy finish highlights colors and depth, matte creates a natural look

Thanks to this finish, the countertop retains its appearance and properties for many years. It is the final, but very important step that turns a beautiful design into something practical for everyday use.

A more conscious choice – also for the environment

In making our countertops, we strive to make choices that are responsible both for the home and the environment. We use materials and techniques that help minimize waste and extend the product’s lifespan.

✔ MDF is made from wood industry by-products – creating new value from existing material
✔ Produced in Estonia – lower transportation load and reduced carbon footprint
✔ Durable finish – less need for frequent replacement
✔ Epoxy and finishing materials are measured precisely to avoid excess waste

A long-lasting, durable, and carefully crafted countertop is an environmentally conscious alternative to natural stone, helping to reduce overconsumption and resource waste.
